Minecraft’s
15 Year
National Park

It was my job to collaborate with the various partners involved in the early conceptualizing stage and produce the groundwork for my team MushCo to build Minecraft’s 15-year National Park, here’s how I did it!

Starting with a list of biomes, I made a topographic map of the island to help everyone see the vision before they saw the early concepts of the locations.

Now that we knew what we wanted and where we wanted it, I was able to start drawing and conceptualizing each biome and a monument to represent them

The Park Monuments

Naturally, many ideas go unused, but that’s what being a concept artist is all about!

Endangered Creatures
Welcome to the Park

Collaborating with CompyCraft, it was up to me to convert a list of endangered animals into the vanilla Minecraft style, here’s what that looked like…

Park Ranger Uniform

Finally, my friends over at Mythicus Studios asked me to design the park ranger outfits!

The results from the builders at MushCo, the developers and artists at Mythicus Studios, and the very talented and devoted CompyCraft took these concepts and did an amazing job.
